Taco Bell Opening in Atmore

ATMORE, AL 8/11/2014 – A new Taco Bell on Highway 21 is scheduled to open for business at 7am on Wednesday, August 13th, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony and VIP “sneak peek” for Atmore City officials. Mayor Jim Staff, along with the City Council, Atmore Industrial Development Board and Chamber of Commerce, will be on-site Tuesday, August 12th at 12pm for the ribbon cutting and will enjoy lunch afterwards with Taco Bell Team Members.

“We are excited to bring the delicious tastes of Taco Bell to the Atmore community so residents no longer have to travel to Bay Minette to feed their craving,” says Tim Morrison, President and COO of Tacala Companies. “Tacala was founded in Alabama, and we are pleased to continue growing throughout the state, particularly in a city that is experiencing great economic growth and development.”

The new restaurant continues the tremendous growth of Tacala Companies, which currently operates 258 locations throughout the Southeast US and Texas. The company recently opened a new location in downtown Birmingham and will open an additional restaurant in Opelika later this summer.
