Taco Bell first launched the Mexican Pizza in 1985, but it was discontinued in 2020 to streamline our operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our customers disagreed with this decision and were very vocal about missing their beloved Mexican Pizza. Our customers and fans, including Katy Perry, Dolly Parton, and Doja Cat, have spoken, and it\u2019s clear our Mexican Pizza is their #1 favorite.<\/p>\n
We permanently brought back the Mexican Pizza on September 15, 2022, and our Tacala Teams served 322,754 Mexican Pizzas in the first 6 days of its\u2019 re-relaunch! The customer is always right, so we brought back the Mexican Pizza on May 19th<\/sup>. Word spread like wildfire, and our customers raced to their local Taco Bells all across the country. The support was unbelievable, and our customers\u2019 love consumed all of the Mexican Pizzas.
