Marjorie Perlman

Marjorie Perlman joined Tacala in 2000 with over 10 years of Taco Bell Corp. marketing experience in a variety of areas including new product marketing, third party promotions, media strategy development, and field marketing, as well as extensive media planning and buying experience from her days at J. Walter Thompson.  In 2001, she launched Freedom Advertising, an independent agency responsible for developing marketing strategy and designing and executing tactical plans to achieve sales objectives in seven Tacala DMAs.  As Tacala has grown, the number of markets served by Freedom Advertising has expanded to nine.  Over the years, the strategies and tactics employed in these markets have contributed to better than average sales growth for Tacala. 

In addition to supervising the agency, Marjorie manages internal and external communications for Tacala, and the efforts of Team Tacala Charities.  Team Tacala Charities is Tacala’s 501c3 Foundation dedicated to teens in the communities where Tacala does business through fundraising and grant distribution in support of programs to improve High School graduation rates.  She is the primary liaison between Tacala, local non-profits and the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens.
